Week 78- Grateful for the book of Mormon...and my misison

Happy thanksgiving!!

Busy week this week....

We were able to serve ….

And we  had a district Breakfast ( me and my compy making breakfast!)

We had two exchanges this week! One after preparation day with Sister Robertson and sister Brooks. They're such champs! We were able to get a hold of lots of investigators who have like fallen off the planet so that was a huge miracle! Super awesome day full of lots of finding. We also got in contact with a former investigator, Ry. He is so awesome! He almost got baptized a while ago but couldn't kick word of wisdom issues. But a few weeks ago, Sister Wong and I were coming back from an appointment and saw a guy down the street. So we ran to catch up with him (yes, we might have literally ran...haha) and started

talking with him...turns out it was Ry!

We had our first snow!!

This is me making ELK NACHOS!!! Haha this is me. Cooking raw meat. Game meat.
( we love her face with the raw elk!!)

The other day we were driving to our last stop of the night in Ranchester, our little branch. We saw this lady standing outside and felt like we needed to talk with her. So we awkwardly pulled to the side of the road, got out and went up to her. Turns out her name is R and she's super nice. We were able set a time to

come back and share a message with her. We went by a few days later on

exchanges.. We had planned to share a specific message when we stopped by, as we were talking with her, we felt prompted to share a video with her. It was a little

weird because we felt like we should share the Easter video. And it's

thanksgiving. Haha but we did anyway. It was amazing to see the Spirit

work within them.

Her husband was kinda puttering around the garage.

But when the video got going, he kept coming closer and closer to

listen and watch. By the end of the video, the whole family was just

sitting quietly watching. Then afterward, R with tears starting

to fill her eyes said "that right there...That's what I believe!

That's what you believe too? I thought you didn't believe in Christ?"

R was raised Catholic and her parents weren't super fond of other

religions, especially "the Mormons" so she had grown up believing that

we worship prophets and don't believe in Christ. It was a so special

to be able to testify of our savior Jesus Christ and what belief in

Him has done for me and my family. As R and T began to recognize

that our message truly is centered in Christ, their whole countenance

changed.  It so cool to see how faith in Christ makes

such a difference. Our message is truly centered on Him.

One more awesome miracle of the week. We have been working with this

investigator, Lori for the last few weeks. She was raised RLDS and has

lots of questions. She has had some serious concerns about the Book of

Mormon and hadn't been reading , So we  went by and really felt prompted to focus on the

Book of Mormon one more time. We asked questions and shared the video "God's words never cease".

(It's so awesome. If you have to seen it go watch it.) We invited her to

start from the beginning of the Book of Mormon and read a little bit

and we would come back the next day. It was SO cool to see the

difference!. It always amazes me to see the impact that comes from the Book of Mormon

and exchange of heart that can come from reading it and finding Christ

in its pages.

Such an awesome week!! I hope you all have an amazing week and enjoy

thanksgiving!! And pray for us! We have a bunch of dinners. Haha happy

Thanksgiving!!

WEEK 77- Busier and busier

Hola family!!

Super busy week! We were gone at MLC Monday-Wednesday, home for
Thursday, in Gillette on Friday and then home sweet home for Sunday:)
busy week but so amazing. MLC is always such a spiritual highlight.
And it was amazing to see everyone.

Sadly I had to bear my last testimony at Mission Leadership Meeting ( MLC) …and say good bye to some great Life time friends.

Beloved sister Wong  (tear)                                                           My "greenie" how I love her <3

Leslie is doing great! She's such a champ.
She came to us and asked us where the tithing envelopes are. She's amazing!!!
She had the flu this week and couldn't come to church and was
distraught because she wanted to bear her testimony. But they took the
sacrament to her which she really appreciated. She's so amazing. I
just love her!!  She is such an example to me.

Another fun moment of the week was we made the largest pile of leaves
in the world and got to jump in it! Haha it was super fun to do some
service for some members in the other ward and get out in the
beautiful weather.

AND...its hunting season in Wyoming!

So another awesome highlight of this week was Kathy.
And my oh my she is amazing. She has some family that are LDS and lots of co –workers
And friends   We had the opportunity to teach her in her Friends home and it was
such a special experience. They have been working with her for 9 years
preparing her to take the discussions and she finally said she is
ready. It was one of the most amazing  experiences of my mission.
When we shared Joseph Smith's first vision she just sat there with tears in
her eyes. Then said "I wish I could have that experience." It was such
a beautiful moment.

Anyway, the weeks are getting busier and busier! We have 2 exchanges
next week so we're super pumped. The work is amazing. I'm so so
grateful to be serving here! Love you all so much!! Have an amazing
week.

WEEK 76- new comp and referrals from Heavne

Hey hey so sorry not much time!! It was an awesome week full of
transfers and lots of fun!  My new Companion here in Sheridan is
Sister KayLee Jacoby! From flagstaff Arizona. She's been out about 9 months!
Sister King( one of her buddies from the MTC) trained her. First time being a sister training leader!
 She's super sweet!

We have been really working on finding people to teach  and learn from and we had tons of miracles this week with referrals!
There is a family in another ward here in Sheridan that called us and
said they have a friend who lives in our boundaries who they have been
working with for 9 years!! And said she is ready to hear the lessons.
Soooo exciting!! We're meeting with them this week in the members home
and super exited! We also had regional stake conference this week and
she came to that. Her name is K and she seems so sweet!

Leslie is doing great! She came to conference as well. We are planning
a time with her to go to the temple and do some baptism. She is so
excited and the whole regional conference pretty much was about
temples so it was so perfect for her!!

Also at the regional conference we met many people who have had great fellowshipping and are Ready to learn more!
This next week is going to be busy! Off to Billings tonight and then MLC in Helena the next day. But the Lord always provides. The work is amazing and I'm so grateful to be here in Sheridan!

Also on another note for family-sorry we didn't have much email
time...ill explain later but had to play doctor for my sweet
companion. We went on a hike in buffalo and she tried to climb things
and fell and got super cut up and rope burn and nasty stuff.
No time cause we might be heading to the
doctor. We'll see how it goes. I'll keep you posted next week.

Life is good! This work is true! I'm so grateful for this gospel. I
love you so much have an amazing week!!!
